"The way you smile, your color, your level, your style,
aesthetic treatment.."
WHAT IS AESTHETIC TEETH?
The symmetry, proportion and balance of the teeth with each other and with the whole face are aesthetically important. However, the contour, surface and color characteristics of the teeth are among the elements that should be considered in terms of providing aesthetics.
With technological developments, many new treatment options have emerged in the treatment of teeth in the anterior region. First of all, a good diagnosis should be made for patients who come with a request for aesthetic correction. Identifying the problem is essential for success.
Some conditions that require aesthetic treatment can be listed as follows; spaced teeth, crooked or twisted teeth, discolored, broken and damaged teeth, teeth with root surface, abraded teeth, white spot lesions, teeth small in size.
COMPOSITE BONDING APPLICATION
It is a kind of composite filling application made by removing very little material from the tooth in the correction of crooked and crooked teeth, correction of worn and discolored teeth, closing small tooth gaps. For this, special filling materials are used. This application is preferred because it is extremely protective, has minimal wear on the teeth and gives good aesthetic results.
ZIRCONIUM COATINGS-FULL PORCELAIN CORONS
Made of ceramic or porcelain material, zirconium is a shiny and solid element. Zirconium tooth crown consists of a white material and does not contain metal. It is used by dentists to cover the tooth surfaces of people who want to have an aesthetic smile and white teeth.
Instead of metal-supported porcelain crowns, which were frequently used in the past, crown and bridge prostheses made entirely of porcelain are now used. Full porcelains transmit light, as in natural teeth, and thus the closest aesthetic appearance to the natural tooth appears.
ADVANTAGES OF FULL PORCELAIN CROWNS AND ZIRCONIUM BACKED CROWNS AND BRIDGES:
A very similar aesthetic to natural teeth can be obtained in full porcelain and zirconium supported crowns. Even if the metal-based porcelains are very well made, a dullness and artificiality are striking due to the metal infrastructure underneath. For this reason, full ceramic and zirconium supported porcelains should be preferred especially in the treatment of anterior teeth. In addition, metal-supported porcelains give a dark color appearance in some lights (camera flash, etc.).
All-ceramic and zirconium-supported porcelains respond closely to the natural tooth appearance, even under different lights. Porcelains without metal support do not form a purple line at the gingival level over time. Its appearance is also more aesthetic in this respect. Since there are no metal ions in its infrastructure, there is no risk of allergy.
AESTHETIC COMPOSITE FILLERS
In the concept of aesthetic dentistry, it is aimed to restore the lost aesthetic appearance, as well as to eliminate the complaints of the patient by treating the decayed and aching teeth.
Dental caries, worn teeth, discolored teeth, sensitive teeth, gaping teeth, broken teeth, deformed teeth, slightly crooked teeth can be treated with composite (tooth color) fillings. Shape, position or color disorders of the teeth are important in terms of function and aesthetics. In addition, these treatments have a positive effect on our general health.
